Mac OS 9.0.x and 9.1.x can be updated to 9.2.2.

Mac OS 9.0.x can be updated to 9.1, the last version supported on some PowerPC Macs.

Mac OS 8.5 and 8.5.1 can be updated to 8.6.

Any version of System 7.5.x can be updated to 7.5.5, although a few Macs do not support 7.5.5.

System 7.5.3 can also be downloaded for free, but the files are not disk images.
